A blend keeps the same ratio in every draw
Read each component’s amount from the label of your existing blend. The calculator uses those amounts and the final liquid volume to show what a draw contains. Changing the draw changes every component together.
Find each concentration
Calculate each component separately. A 5 mg component in 2 mL has a concentration of 2,500 mcg/mL, regardless of the amounts of the other components.

Check the whole draw
For a U-100 syringe, divide the unit mark by 100 to get milliliters. Multiply that volume by each component’s concentration.

Work backward from one component
If your plan gives an amount for one component, choose Find a draw. The calculator works out the volume for that amount, then shows the amounts of all the other components alongside it.
Example: components of 5 mg and 10 mg in 2 mL
A 10-unit U-100 draw is 0.1 mL. It contains 250 mcg of the 5 mg component and 500 mcg of the 10 mg component. The 1:2 ratio stays the same for every draw. This example demonstrates the arithmetic only.
Common questions
Can I calculate a blend with three or four components?
Yes. Add a row for each component and enter its individual labeled amount. Use the final liquid volume of the vial once for the whole blend.
What if my label only gives a total blend weight?
You need the amount of each component to calculate its share of a draw. A total blend weight without the component amounts is not enough information.
Can I change the ratio by adding more water?
No. More water lowers all component concentrations together. Their ratio stays fixed. A larger or smaller draw also changes all component amounts together.
Are U-100 syringe units the same as IU?
No. Here, U-100 markings describe liquid volume: 100 units is 1 mL. International Units (IU) describe biological activity and require a substance-specific conversion. This tool accepts component amounts in mg or mcg, not IU.
Does this tell me which compounds can be mixed?
No. It calculates from an existing blend’s label. It does not establish compatibility, stability, a suitable dose, or a preparation method.
